Did they call from a no caller id number or did it show their number? Lol weird question but curious

On my phone it showed that the call was from Palo Alto (area code: 650)

Was anyone given a timeline on when we would hear back?

For the last interview, people started hearing back a week and a half later (2 Tuesdays). They did send us an email saying they would notify everyone by end of November. No set date, though.

Congrats to those that got in! My boyfriend applied to Stanford and wasn't accepted but just got into a program in Arizona! We recently leased a two bedroom apartment in San Jose (and I will be staying here but will be away most weekends visiting him) so wanted to offer up a fully furnished bedroom available for rent much cheaper than the on/off campus cost (CA rents are ridiculous!) if any new students are from out of the area and looking for a quick, quiet, and easy place to settle! Feel free to reach out if you're interested.

Hi everyone! I created a Facebook group for those who have been accepted to The Stanford PA program starting in 2019 and plan to attend. I’m hoping this will make it easier to ask questions, share information about the acceptance process, and get to know fellow classmates! If you have been accepted and are interested in joining, please follow the link below.

I still haven't heard back from Stanford and I interviewed 10/5. Does anyone know when I should be expecting to hear back? I just need to know one way or another.... this waiting around is rough.  Thanks in advance

@anahitaasefi they sent out an email a few weeks ago that they’d try to let everyone know by the end of November. Which may end up being literally the last day of November. 🤷‍♂️ (If any Stanford admission committee members are reading this I am not being salty just trying to use humor to soften the anxiety)

I also got my rejection email. It was an honor though to be invited to interview and I got to visit my cousins while I was out there 🙂 congratulations to all those accepted and good luck to everyone in finding the right program for them

Can someone explain why Stanfords tuition is 160k for the program? Am I reading this wrong? What makes this program so much better?

      Hi there,
I was hoping that someone could help answer this one on Stanford and retaking GRE exam.
I know that you are required to submit your Stanford application through CASPA by September 1st, but does that mean you have to submit your GRE scores by that date?  Intuitively the answer seems obvious but I have read that you can take/retake the GRE after that September 1st deadline and update your scores on CASPA. The updated scores will then be sent to the programs you've applied to. While I've already sent preliminary scores to Stanford, I'm planning on re-taking the GRE and am wondering what the latest date I can take it is.
I apologize if this discussion has already occurred but I could not track it down.  Any links officially describing this timeline would be great.
Thanks in advance for your time,

what pa program are you in and what's your profile like? I am still an undergrad student and I would want to be (extra) well-prepared for PA school. I have looked at multiple uni's programs, but since I'm in california, I'd like to stay local. I was looking at usc's. anybody in usc's program? gpa? GRE score? HRE? curious. thank you.

      Hello all,
I noticed a discussion thread has not yet been started for this year's application cycle. I recently received an email from admissions letting me know that my application has been received and is under review. Where is everyone else in the application process? Any little drops of wisdom on how the Stanford admissions process typically goes, or the merits/drawbacks of their curriculum and program?
      Thanks, and good luck

      Hi--

I am applying for this coming application round. I recently took the GRE:
      162 verbal
      5.5 analytical
      153 quantitative

If it wasn't for the quantitative score, I wouldn't be inclined to retake the test. However, I am wondering if I could still get in to my schools of choice. My overall GPA and science GPA are 3.93, I graduated valedictorian of my department, and I have several years of experience working as a clinical dietitian, as well as public health and policy work. I also have good letters of rec and tend to interview well. I don't want the GRE score to be the one thing that gets in my way, but I don't have a lot of time to practice and re-take it. If everything else in my application is good, can I still get in to Stanford or Yale with a quant. score in the 51st percentile?
