beva303 Posted June 7, 2017 Share Posted June 7, 2017 Hi All!! I am interviewing Friday morning. I will be getting to town Thursday afternoon and staying through Saturday. I would love to get together with whoever would like to meet up Thursday evening and/or Friday afternoon/evening to decompress and overanalyze our interview experiences :) I have read through the forum from last year and it seems like a pretty decent group got together before interviews and it helped to ease some nerves, and I am all about that!! Caloia4 Posted June 7, 2017 Share Posted June 7, 2017 My friends that are a current PA students said the interview process was super lax! A one on one and a group interview with a tour of the school. You'll be escorted around with current PA students so you can ask them questions about the school as well! The faculty are super nice and they truly want to get to know if the student is a good fit for the class. You've made it this far bc you're good on paper so just show them your personality! a86dech Posted June 7, 2017 Share Posted June 7, 2017 Interview: There are essentially 3 interviews happening that day. 1) individual with a community PA 2) individual with a PA faculty member 3) group interview with 3-4 PA's (mix of community and faculty) and 5-6 of you. The important thing to remember is to be yourself and let your passion show. :) For those of you still waiting: my fingers are crossed for you! For those who haven't gotten in: RE-APPLY next cycle. I have wonderful classmates who interviewed multiple times to get in and they are amazing! Best of luck. Also, the MPA class of 2019 will be emailing regarding scheduled "meet and greets" that will happen around interview weekend. I know many of you are already planning on meeting, just letting you know that there are other opportunities where everyone is welcome and you will be able to interact with the class of 2019 and ask questions. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's so awesome you are planning on meeting up with people! Just a heads up that the class of 2019 will be hosting meet and greets during interview weekend to interact with both potential 2020 class members as well as current students. :) It will be in the email you used on your application as soon as we get the official list of names.
