My USF GPA is a 3.76 and CASPA science GPA is 3.43, with upward trends in the last 3 semesters. Hopefully admissions committees will be understanding of this, and weigh my HCE, LOR, and life experience which I've worked really hard for. I am also a surgical technologist!!! I don't see too many applying for PA schools. Good luck!!!!!! I'm in a very similar situation as you are, years ago dropped out of many courses during the semester due to health reasons, had to take a bunch of withdrawals which ruined my GPA, but with tech school and then finishing my bach, it has really gone up, plus working full time while in school full time, to prove to admissions I want this... oh boy. You're not applying smart. You're applying to a small amount of programs and the majority if not all of them are name state schools which you probably don't have residency working in your favor. If your goal is simply getting into PA school you will most likely be denied this cycle if those are the only schools you're applying to with your undergrad GPA. The newer programs and the smaller schools are the ones you want to target with your GPA. It's either that or doing a formal post-bacc or masters program to take a future shot at the Duke's and MEDEX's. Although I think your best route is to apply smarter and to schools you stand a stronger chance of being accepted this cycle.
