My son spent most of his first two years in hospitals, went through 5 bowel operations, multi-organ transplant eval at UNMC, and is a patient in the Intestinal Rehabilitation Program currently. He is 5 now, and in good health. We've made it through TPN, IV abx, central lines, g-tubes, enteral feedings, and so much more. This experience opened my eyes to my love for the medical field and how much of a difference I feel I can make in the lives of others.
