this seems like an impressive stat, do you know what was the reason that NOVA declined you? Cuz I cant figure out why

One of the prereqs for Nova is general biology. At my school, general bio was required as a prereq for A&P and micro, but I didn't feel like taking it, so I took the CLEP, was awarded credit for the class (BSC 1005), and registered for A&P.

In April, when I first considered attending Nova, I contacted admissions and asked them if taking the course by CLEP would be an issue, and they said no. When I put in the application, they said that since my school only gave me credit for BSC 1005 they would not admit me. They claimed that BSC 1005 was an intro to biology course, and that I needed BSC 1010. I pointed out that this credit was awarded as the result of me passing the only biology test that the CLEP has, and that they had earlier told me it was fine. No dice. Rejected.

Nova just started interviewing last week from what I understand. When did you get rejected and they told you that it was because of BSC 1005? That is concerning to me as I took BSC 1005 and didnt take a second general biology class. I interviewed there last week. I hope I dont get rejected due to not taking a second general bio class.......

Midwestern University was my top choice, I interviewed there second, Sept 16th 2011. I was accepted to the University of Florida first Sept 21st, and was accepted to Midwestern yesterday Oct 19th! I have decided to stop interviewing since I know Midwestern is the best choice for me, and interviewing is very stressful and expensive. The four interview invites I did not attend were scheduled for days after I was accepted to Midwestern, and have been canceled.

Direct Patient Care: working at a neuro program at my school with faculty/physical therapists to rehab MS patients, I make the therapeutic routines and take patients through them, only have about 20 hours back when I applied, will have about 400 before matriculation (if i get in anywhere that is)

Shadowing: 20 hours in the ER at Tufts Medical center with a PA

Application Submitted Date: September

Schools Received Application Date: Around October 10th

Schools Applied: MCPHS Boston, Northeastern, Northwestern, Quinnipiac, Baylor, UMDNJ

Interviews Invited: Still waiting, they just got my applications

Accepted: obviously still waiting

I know my application isn't very strong, all I have is a competitive GPA, not much else, I don't expect to get into any of these programs I'm kinda just taking my chances and testing the waters, but if I get in anywhere I'll happily attend. I'm concerned that my lack of work experience will keep me from getting into most of those programs, and I've been told that they will hold my age against me somewhat. With that said, what do you think my chances are of getting into any of those? If anyone knows anything specific about what they emphasize for admissions it would be really helpful. Congrats to all of those that have been accepted.
