SocialMedicine Posted July 25, 2011 I signed it. Wonderful idea. One suggestion .... for individuals who serve in leadership roles with the AAPA, or a school dean for example, there could be a position to indicate professional title .... might bolster the signature list. just a thought. nice job !

Contrarian Posted July 25, 2011 Great thought... but since as PA-Cs our thoughts about OUR name carry the same weight... we are all equal... its NOT necessary. YOUR vote/thoughts/opinion on a name change is just as important and carries the same weight as the AAPA president's vote/thoughts/opinion on a name change if you are both PAs.

Superfundee Posted July 28, 2011 I signed it as well. At my current job, the hospital HR has job title called "Physician's Associate". However, we PAs, never call ourselves Physician's Associate to patients or other colleagues. We just have our work badge title: "Physician's Associate".
