treejay
there are countless jobs in these specialties even for new grads in many locations across the US. seems like an extremely broad search image. maybe it would help to identify at least a region you'd like to work in and go from there. oldpastudent
Jay, just stay in KY. After you get to know everybody and speak a new version of English, its OK. Besides, what's the hurry, you need to work on your eastern KY accent. :)

akdEM
I know that Team Health staffs a lot of ERs in central Kentucky and they hire new grads pretty regularly. Several people from the class ahead of me got jobs through them. I believe they start you out around 60/hr with OT and bonuses for picking up shifts. It's not a bad deal... GetMeOuttaThisMess
Sent email to EmCare asking if they'd ever considered the same since they have a level one center in home town. As I expected, no response.

As I expected, no response. they are not particularly PA friendly. at most of their sites PAs do fast track and/or triage only.
GetMeOuttaThisMess
Yep, and man the crappy urgent care hours that the physicians don't want. Must admit, the pay isn't bad.
