Regional Connection MEDEX is a regional program committed to educating students from Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WWAMI), and from the state of Hawaii. The percentage of students accepted in 2022 from the WWAMI region is 72.1%. This breakout includes: 48.4% Washington, 6.2% Alaska, 3.1% Montana, 3.1% Idaho, and 11.2% Hawaii. I marked yes on both as I'm not "from" WWAMI but have lived in Alaska for 20 years. IMO they are looking for those who will stay in the region.
