I feel a little crazy refreshing my emails so late at night but I don't want to miss any. Also, has anyone received an invite over the weekend before? My anxiety has me checking all day every day. byf8thpber Posted August 25, 2020 Share Posted August 25, 2020 This may not help your anxiety but I received an interview invite from a Western school at 22:00 on a Friday night. I have received 7 invites and 1 rejection so far and none of them have been on a Saturday or Sunday. I would push your email to your phone with a specific ring tone from your caspa email so you never have to refresh. Good luck! Don't be paranoid though, every school has given at least a week to respond so do yourself a favor and only check during business hours. My anxiety has me checking all day every day.The people who send invitations often have other jobs, like teaching, preparing lectures, interviewing, going to meetings, and maybe a clinical day here and there too. They can send invitations at any time. Checking once or twice a day is fine. More often is an obsession.
