Hey all! Figured I'd go ahead and start a thread specifically for Boston. Feel free to post your personal timeline and stats so that everyone has an idea of what's going on!

 

I personally submitted by CASPA July 23, had it verified by the 25th, mailed by the 26th. However I just designated MCPHS Boston today the 28th. I also completed the supplemental today since it is available online.

 

Stats:

GRE: Quantitative 150 (53%), Verbal 157 (73%), Writing 4.0 (54%)

HCE: ~300 hrs and counting as a CNA at hospital. 500+ hours of other experience including research, volunteer at clinic and hospital, shadowing surgeon, PA, and NP.

GPA: 3.32

sGPA: 3.15

BS in Biological Sciences

Varsity athlete in college

I submitted June 6th, mailed June 21st

 

GRE : 155 quant 61%, 151 verb 49%, 4.0 writing 54%

HCE : 3,200 - Psych Tech, CNA in an ER, MA for an orthopaedic surgeon and for a pediatrician, EMT in an ER

7 medical missions : 4 corners Indian reservations, Homeless population in Vegas, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Nicaragua x2

Volunteered at 3 homeless clinics, Physical Therapy Aid Externiship

 

GPA: Overall 3.44 Science 3.48

BS in Exercise Physiology

I submitted 7/13(ish).

 

English Teaching major

Overall GPA: 3.39

Science GPA: 3.6

 

HCE: 12,000 hours as an EMT, ED Tech, EKG tech and Cardiac Telemetry Tech- 5 years full timr

 

100 hours of hospital volunteer work, Resident Assistnat in college.

Submitted 7/24 or so.

 

GRE: 164V (93%), 159Q (77%), 5.5 AW (96%)

 

Neuroscience major

CASPA overall: 3.63

"BCP": 3.60

 

500+ hours as a patient care tech, ~50 hrs hospital volunteering, various research projects (~250 hrs), some PA shadowing, the usual story...

B.S Exercise Physiology with Aquatic Therapy minor

caspa overall : 3.29 , 3.3 science

last 60+ credit GPA 3.8

1500 hrs patient care tech, 400 pt escort, 300 aquatic therapy internship

200+ hrs shadowing ( internal med, thoracic/vascular surgery, ortho surgery, general surgery)

500+ volunteer (non health related)

I submitted CASPA and the supplemental July 15. I got the e-mail that it's being processed but not that it's being reviewed!! I interviewed at MCPHS last cycle, didn't get in so I'm a reapplicant. I wonder if they review re-applicants separately? I'm so anxious to hear, it's killing me! :-_-:
