  1. Congrats to all - I was not admitted, but I am happy with the school that did admit me! CONGRATS! Amyla and all the rest :)
  2. You are a good man who will be a great PA. We have had great conversation on the forum and in personal messages. I believe both were edified and I wish you luck on your journey.

Thank you Jace. Good luck in your future endeavors. I lived in Atlanta for three years and I think you will enjoy it. Maybe we'll meet someday at a conference and have a beer. Take care.

  3. Lots of info to take in here. I hope we all become successful PAs regardless of the program we attend.
  4. They have sent out denial letters, I didnt formally received one, but when I called to check on my app they said that I should have received one.
  5. I have relinquished my position I hope this opens up an opportunity for someone.
  6. All these acceptances :) Congrats. I just received my invite. How did you all like the program ?
  7. Just got the invite today, and I didn't submit the payment for my supplemental, i'm a little confused. I think there was another fee that we were supposed to pay, like the application to the grad school that I did not pay, some where they must have miscommunicated.

  10. I just got the call from Allan! I almost shed a tear, I wish I could relive this moment forever! That feeling of joy and adrenaline and satisfaction is second to none CONGRATS ALISS
  11. First of all I would like to say congratulation to all that have made it to this point. The countless hours of shadowing, volunteering, working, schooling, late nights in the library, going on fumes to balance all that we needed to, to allow us this wonderful opportunity. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL! Hearing Allan's voice 11:14 (MTN STD) was the best thing I have ever heard, and i'm sure the rest of you can relate. How lucky we are to be chosen to attend one of the best if not the best PA program in the Nation. Lets all keep in touch, and figure out living arrangements, and such. I look forward to meeting you all, and getting to know you all! I will be creating a facebook page for us all to connect. Sincerely, Jace
  12. I just got the call from Allan! I almost shed a tear, I have worked so hard, and sacrificed so much! Good luck to all ! Over the last year I have interviewed at 8 schools from Maine - Arizona and everywhere in between, and I have NEVER been so impressed. These people want you there, and they want you to succeed. Allan and Fran made me feel like a V.I.P. on interview day. I am blessed and honored !
  13. Well Caspa OPENS around April 17th. I have been accepted for a school, but lets metaphorically say I was not accepted. CASPA opened April 17th 2013, I slaved at my application for about a month and a half and submitted June 6th. It was verified and sent to the schools I applied to June 21st. Now if I did NOT get accepted, ALL OF MY APPLICATION material on the CASPA website would be erased, and I would be forced to start a new account. SO 92% of all schools end their interview acceptance cycle by April of the following year. Some schools have a longer cycle - Eastern virginia medical school, MCPHS, and Albany medical college have a funky system. SO if you wanted to go to any of those schools ( i applied to EVMS ) I applied and submitted my application like I said in June of 2013 but you would not start school until January of 2015. So most schools have a one year cycle. It opens in April, they invited people to interview between june and december, Most decisions are made by march or April of the next year. THEN the whole process starts again. Good luck
