  1. I think it's pretty straight forward! If you're still sure you want to be a PA, go for the interview. Stick with your bsn program in the mean time, as there is no guarantee you'll get in. But if you really want to be a pa, then you have a chance to get there sooner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I agree with the over rehearsing! Here was my experience: I am a good public speaker and a pretty good interviewer. And I am notorious for just winging everything and making it work. But because the stakes were SO high, I bought and read Andrew Rodicans book (the one you have) and started practicing. Unfortunately, I ran into the same problem you are. I sounded forced and rehearsed. Have your family or someone who knows you really well practice with you. My mom was able to tell me I wasn't coming across as myself and was way too practiced. Eventuallly, I learned the major bullet points of my
  3. Guys- I did hear at my interview that they think they will get those extra seats added this year (at least a few more) so keep your heads up. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Did most of us get wait listed/denied for an interview? I've already accepted a seat at Northeastern but I am sort I'd surprised to see how many of us didn't even get a look! Congrats to those who did! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I did. There are already 10 or so of us on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Agreed!!!! It is insanely competitive! And not something to take lightly or do half heatedly. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I would just be wary of the community college thing. My program I'll be attending does not accept any credits from cc. Just make sure the schools you want will take them! Other than that, I agree, no problem with multiple schools! I had transcripts from 3 different schools and no one bated an eye. Also 2 of those were online science courses. Quite a few programs accept the university of new England's online courses if you're looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not sure when the last interview session is but I heard sometime this month. You'll hear either way!! Good luck!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Are you waiting on an interview or an acceptance? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I was an English teaching major-- with a BA. I took limited science courses (bio, chemistry, organic, a and p) and was accepted to two programs first attempt. If anything I think my unusual background helped set me apart! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the advice guys! I was thinking something along the lines of "Yes! A thousand times yes!" Kidding;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I was just accepted to Northeastern, and they are asking me to send them a letter along with my deposit stating my acceptance into the program. Has anyone done this before? Is there anything particular I need to say or just "I accept this slot!"? Haha. Any help would be great! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
