I got an email from the Arizona campus today saying it was forwarded for an in-depth review with faculty! The one for “initial” review does look identical for the “in-depth” review email, maybe that’s why.

Just got an invite to the texas campus!

Howdy everyone, I just received an interview invite for the Texas campus. From the email, they say it will be a virtual interview with an MMI format. I applied in early May and my stats are as follows: 

GPA- 3.76

sGPA- 3.50

PCH- 2,000 (CNA) 

Volunteer- 200

Shadowing- 500 (most MD, some virtual PA) 

Casper- 4th quartile

Congrats!! When had you heard about passing the review aspects? When are the interviews taking place?

I went into a "more in-depth review" on 6/2 and then was sent an email stating I passed the second review process and was being considered for an interview on 6/6.

Hey, here was my time line:

May 16- app received initial review

Jun 16- in-depth review 

Jun 21- more in-depth by faculty

July 18- second review

Aug 31- interview invite

Hi everyone! As I posted previously, I've passed the initial baseline for TX and am in now more in-depth review by faculty - but I haven't heard anything from AZ and I submitted 4 weeks ago. Is anyone else in this boat? Should I reach out to them? Thanks!

@shelfrankthis happened to me too. I want to say I finally heard around the 4-5 week mark. I heard from Texas weeks following Arizona

I was offered an interview for the AZ campus on 9/25. Does anyone know if they’ll respond with an acceptance soon after or if they’re conducting all interviews first? Good luck everyone!

Thank you so much! I applied 5/29 but had to wait for my Casper test and results to be sent in. I met the initial baseline review on 7/14 and then passed the second review on 7/17. So just over a month to hear back regarding the interview. I had a similar timeline with Texas and have yet to hear back, so don’t lose hope!! Good luck!

I applied to both programs on 7/31 and have only heard from TX. Nothing from AZ still!

I sent an email to Pam this morning asking for an update on my AZ application since it's been 6 weeks since I submitted and she immediately responded saying my casper score was just received and then I immediately received an email that I passed baseline review and am in queue for in-depth review by faculty. 

My casper score was definitely sent about a month ago, considering I've already heard from the TX program about my application moving along. Sounds like maybe the AZ program is getting a lot of hits and some apps are being missed. I would highly recommend reaching out for anyone else in this position!!
