mooredc
Hey folks. I am doing some PRN work at a little health clinic inside of a manufacturing plant. Does anybody know if there is a cheap (free) program I can download where I can input the patient information and script and it print out the script? We are paper based charting so I don’t have the option to e prescribe.
Administrator rev ronin Posted March 25, 2020 Administrator Share Posted March 25, 2020 Why not a script pad? Will you ever need controlled Rx'es? (and no, I don't know of a solution, sorry)
Moderator ventana Posted March 25, 2020 Moderator Share Posted March 25, 2020 you can buy the controlled sub paper from somewhere set up a word document with all your info on it - then hit print
Hemmingway
Prescriptions can be printed on just about anything as long as they contain the information required in your state. Make your own form.
mgriffiths
In my area of MI, paper scripts are being accepted less and less by pharmacies. We have the ability to send electronically, therefore they expect them electronically. No controlled substance scripts can be sent by paper to multiple pharmacies in my area. Not entirely sure the legality, but honestly makes my job easier therefore I'm for it.

I don't, in 2 of my 3 practice settings.
