Were you waitlisted last year after your interview? I am also a second year applicant to this program and have not heard anything at all this year which is a little odd to me.

Same, I interviewed last year and was waitlisted. I was hoping to hear back from them as I really enjoyed the program when I interviewed.

Me too! I find it weird that I haven’t heard from them at all. I was hoping for at least another interview this year after being waitlisted last year. Not really sure what to think at this point.

I was waitlisted after the interview last year. I had two other people in my interview (first one) who had also been waitlisted. They may still interview you, I turned in my application May 7th. If you turned it in later, maybe you’ll receive an interview later.

Good luck!

I JUST GOT AN INTERVIEW !!!!! I will be flying from NYC - does anyone know is the interview MMI ?

Hey! Congratulations on the interview! It’s not MMI. It’s two 2 on 1 interviews and a short essay. The whole process is super laid back and the faculty are very welcoming. Goodluck and safe travels!

How quickly do you find out about acceptance/denial/waitlist after the interview?

I interviewed on November 2nd and they said that although they do rolling admissions as far as sending out interview invites they don’t do rolling acceptances. They want to give everyone interviewing a equal chance.  They told my group that they might accept a few immediately (but these acceptances will be rare). They told me that the majority of people would either be immediately rejected or put on a hold status (they said being placed on a “on hold status” is not a waitlist). I heard back November 7th and was placed on a hold status. Thankful it wasn’t a rejection, so now I just have to wait until they have made it through a few more interviews.
