Contrarian
Mike doesn't have one either. I noticed that he didn't have a "Neurology" diploma displayed when I was at his clinic and asked him about it.

medic25
I just finished a couple of months ago, but won't get my diploma until December; I'll resurrect the thread with an answer when I get my paper.
rodan
I also just graduated Aug 12. I received the MPAS diploma only without mention of specialty. I did get a letter back in July stating that "You will be awarded the MPAS degree from the PA Program as well as indicating you graduated with a specialization in Neurology". I have a call into UNMC today. Ill keep you posted. Rodan.
rodan
Well, according to the DLP director, UNMC stopped giving out the "specialty certification" a couple of years ago..... despite mailing letters to graduates (myself included) that graduates would have "specialization" listed on their degree. I think those of us in this predicatment should consider contacting the dean of the college of medicine. I would be happy to construct a group letter, and those interested in it could also sign it. crieman
I will be starting the distance MPAS very soon I hope. I don't think you can go wrong with that degree, very affordable.
