blueshadow
Hello, Has anyone had experience or heard about the Merrimack Valley Emergency Associates PA fellowship? Interested to hear as there is not much information I can find regarding past fellow's experiences.
Moderator EMEDPA Posted January 21 Moderator Share Posted January 21 https://www.merrimackvalleyemergencyassociates.com/curriculum This is not a residency or fellowship. There are no off-service rotations. This is a low paid orientation. Stay away! 1
Moderator EMEDPA Posted January 21 Moderator Share Posted January 21 The curriculum of a true fellowship looks like this: https://medicine.uiowa.edu/emergencymedicine/education/pa-residency-program/clinical-curriculum I would take a low salary to do this. I would not take a low salary for a year of supervised orientation with no off service rotations.

kettle
Echo what EMEDPA says. That's just a private organization trying to get cheap labor.

The programs to consider really should be 18 months long, university hospital affiliated, working alongside physician residents daily, and more.
