Submitted to Bay Shore & NUMC on 7/14 and received confirmation that my application was received by the Office of Student Services yesterday (7/19). I'm under the impression that the Office of Student Services reviews the applications prior to them being forwarded to the actual PA Admissions Committee for a "formal review," which is why some maybe got emails before others. I just don't get why it would take them 1 month (at this point) to merely screen my application to see if I have all the requirements. Maybe my supervisor is hard to reach to verify PCE? You bring up a good point...to which I agree (wondering why it's taking so long), because they do say they'll reach out to you via the CASPA portal if they need any additional information. Stay hopeful! I'm sure they also have lots of applications to review and some still coming in. I know the waiting is excruciating but it was over 3 months from the time of getting my confirmation email until I got an email asking for an interview. I imagine this is not comforting news. The best advise I can give is be confident in your abilities and proud of your accomplishments thus far. The interviews will come soon I'm sure.
