The PA profession should split into those who want to remain "Assistants" with all its rights and privileges (lol), and those of us who recognize that we are "Practitioners" of medicine and thus should be treated as such. I don't see victory or even survivability with our current plan of action within the AAPA umbrella. We take 1 step forward and NP's take 3. Everyone keeps blaming the pandemic for the job market being so thin, but I see jobs listed still.
