wesr_gordon
My application is full and ready to go... I have 5 pending prerequisites and am applying to schools that allow pending prerequisites but even though they allow it, do I have any fighting chance of being accepted? I have a good GPA, great GRE, great letters of recommendation, good healthcare experience hours, etc. This seems to be my biggest flaw though... Let me know what you guys think. GatorRRT
What prereqs haven't you done?
greenmood
It depends. How many other pre-reqs HAVE you done? If you've only done one pre-req, the committee has nothing to base their decision on. I'm not guessing - this was something mentioned to me by a school when I applied. The more pre-reqs outstanding, the more of a gamble you are to the school even if your other grades are good. Proven excellence in sciences is comforting.
gracec210
Another thing to consider is how much the application cost is worth to you. I figure if the 5 prereqs are the only thing that's working against you, but the rest of your application is strong, you could always just try for it & just apply to the schools where you would definitely attend if admitted. Especially if you already have some other prereqs under your belt w/good grades in those classes. If your application's complete, it'd be easy to just pick your favorite schools and just shell out the money to possibly save yourself 1 extra year of waiting. onlyboys
This is a good question--I am curious as well. I have most prereqs, but I am missing Chemistry I and II and Organic. Any thoughts?
