HopefulPA009 Posted August 19, 2017 Hi everyone, I thought I would start a new thread for the cycle! Good luck to everyone applying!
Eagle3212 Posted August 21, 2017 Same to you! I submitted earlier this month and hope to hear back soon!
cgates812 Posted August 22, 2017 I saw that they do not interview. I am interested to see how many applicants they get.

BirchPA Posted August 30, 2017 I asked them last year if they will eventually conduct interviews and they told me no. I think their reasoning is because Duluth can be difficult to travel to if you do not live in the surrounding states. However they focus on applicants looking to practice in Northern Minnesota.
cgates812 Posted August 31, 2017 That's interesting. I wonder how many they will accept versus how many applications they will get. I feel like they won't get very many applications compared to other schools.
berrybee Posted September 14, 2017 Hi everyone, I also submitted for this cycle. Now we wait :-) Does anyone know of any stats from last year's admitted student class? How many applications they received? This is my top choice; so I'm really hoping to get accepted, but not hearing from them until December is giving me anxiety.

amlmn Posted October 30, 2017 I am not sure how many applications they received last year, but I do know I was on the waitlist and did not get in, as was one of my friends who applied there. Good luck to everyone!
cgates812 Posted December 13, 2017 Got an email today, on the waitlist. I wonder how many people they waitlsited?
emb128 Posted December 14, 2017 I am also waitlisted again...same as last year. It's a little frustrating that they do not provide how many people are waitlisted and/or what your rank is. Does anyone know their reasoning for this? We are owed an explanation given the time and money spent on the application process
cgates812 Posted December 14, 2017 I am not sure why St. Scholastica chooses to do this. I have heard from other schools that they choose not to do rankings because they reevaluate each waitlisted person when a spot becomes available. I have not really heard of schools waitlisted more than the total number of seats, but I know St. Scholastica did waitlist many people last year as well. It is a frustrating and expensive process and it seems to be getting more and more competitive every year. At this point, the best we can do is hope!
berrybee Posted December 14, 2017 Hi all - Sorry to hear so many were waitlisted. I just received my acceptance from St. Scholastica today. It was my first year applying. If anyone else on this forum was accepted and planning to attend- let's be friends! Wishing the best of luck to those hoping to get off the list. Xo
emb128 Posted December 14, 2017 Congrats on getting accepted! For those who are waitlisted..please keep us updated if you get off the waitlist or have anymore insight into the process of St. Scholastica's waitlist.
clewal Posted December 14, 2017 I also received my acceptance, in the email it said that we had to respond by January 5th. Hopefully some of you will hear good news shortly after that!
tavenne323 Posted December 23, 2017 I have also been accepted. Sent in my money already. I have a house in Duluth so I'm so happy to be able to stay! This was my second year applying to CSS, third time to PA schools in general. Glad to get started.
SMB2882 Posted January 3, 2018 I have declined my offer of admission as I've been accepted to another program. I hope someone on the waiting list hears something soon!
ALB1722 Posted January 9, 2018 I was accepted off the waitlist on 1/6/18. This was my first time applying to Scholastica but my second round of PA school applications. I am so excited to start and to be staying in Duluth!!

amlmn Posted March 5, 2018 Hi Tiffany, I was accepted as well I can add you on facebook! Have you or anyone else received any information about start dates or orientation?
tavenne323 Posted March 5, 2018 So far no one I know has gotten an email. Last I heard in the next month as they finalize the class. I finally had to email them to make sure they had all my stuff! I believe start date is the day after Labor Day with orientation the week before.
mcgra170 Posted March 13, 2018 Hey everyone! Anybody hear of a Facebook group or anything for accepted people? Can’t wait to get started.
