I saw that they do not interview. I am interested to see how many applicants they get.

I was wondering the same thing! I was very surprised to read that they do not do interviews.

I asked them last year if they will eventually conduct interviews and they told me no. I think their reasoning is because Duluth can be difficult to travel to if you do not live in the surrounding states. However they focus on applicants looking to practice in Northern Minnesota.

Hi everyone, I also submitted for this cycle. Now we wait :-)

Does anyone know of any stats from last year's admitted student class? How many applications they received? This is my top choice; so I'm really hoping to get accepted, but not hearing from them until December is giving me anxiety.

I am in the same boat!!! i need answers lol!

I am not sure how many applications they received last year, but I do know I was on the waitlist and did not get in, as was one of my friends who applied there.  Good luck to everyone!

I am also waitlisted again...same as last year. It's a little frustrating that they do not provide how many people are waitlisted and/or what your rank is. Does anyone know their reasoning for this? We are owed an explanation given the time and money spent on the application process

I am not sure why St. Scholastica chooses to do this. I have heard from other schools that they choose not to do rankings because they reevaluate each waitlisted person when a spot becomes available. I have not really heard of schools waitlisted more than the total number of seats, but I know St. Scholastica did waitlist many people last year as well.  It is a frustrating and expensive process and it seems to be getting more and more competitive every year. At this point, the best we can do is hope!

Hi all -

Sorry to hear so many were waitlisted. I just received my acceptance from St. Scholastica today. It was my first year applying. If anyone else on this forum was accepted and planning to attend- let's be friends!

Wishing the best of luck to those hoping to get off the list.

Xo

Congrats on getting accepted! For those who are waitlisted..please keep us updated if you get off the waitlist or have anymore insight into the process of St. Scholastica's waitlist.

I was accepted off the waitlist on 1/6/18. This was my first time applying to Scholastica but my second round of PA school applications. I am so excited to start and to be staying in Duluth!!

So far no one I know has gotten an email. Last I heard in the next month as they finalize the class. I finally had to email them to make sure they had all my stuff! I believe start date is the day after Labor Day with orientation the week before.
