fakingpatience
Hey guys Just wanted to see what the general consensus is on joining SEMPA as a student. Most of the pages on their website won't load with information (I assume because I am not logged in), so I don't know a whole lot about the organization at this point. Any insight is welcomed! Administrator rev ronin Posted February 3, 2016 Administrator Share Posted February 3, 2016 They've been a good provider of high-quality, reasonably priced Cat 1 CME. I joined as a student, not sure that it really helped me all that much... but it was $20 at the time.
fakingpatience
Thanks. I think it's only $25 now, but I don't want to waste any money if theres no upside to joining now. Any other opinions out there?

Moderator EMEDPA Posted February 4, 2016 Moderator Share Posted February 4, 2016 That's my current hope. Haven't done rotations yet though worth joining now then as you get discounts on their conference, pepid discounts, etc
JMann
I joined as a student. Good info on the site. Also useful to have on your application if applying to a fellowship or job after you graduate.
