Lemon Bars
I've been looking at prerequisites and other requirements for admission to PA programs and I think I see a trend. It looks like schools in the eastern U.S. have tougher admission standards than in the western states (more applicants in the east?). Also, states with only one PA school seem to have tough requirements also. By tougher I mean prerequisites like biochemistry, upper division science courses, and more HCE. Has anyone else noticed trends?
Just Steve
As I only applied to one school, I haven't noticed any trends. I would be curious to hear if you find the western schools being more stringent/picky on HCE or not.
Guest
why are people so afraid of tough science pre-requisites?
Joelseff
why are people so afraid of tough science pre-requisites? Probably for the same reason they are afraid of real HCE. Sent from my myTouch_4G_Slide using Tapatalk
Administrator rev ronin Posted August 27, 2012 Administrator Share Posted August 27, 2012 By "tough requirements" do you mean PA schools that focus on 22-year-olds with pre-med coursework, shadowing, and a near-4.0? That may be "tough", but it's only one particular brand of tough.
