Phieud
I heard that if I work in an underserved area after graduating PA school for an x amount of years, there a program that would pay my loans? What is the program called? Are there more than one? How hard is it to get into that program? How many years will I have to work in that area? Do they pay the full amount? Do i apply the same time I'm applying for PA school or do I apply when I get accepted? Sorry for all the questions, but any information, even a link, would be helpful. Thank you. Just Steve
Competitive process so don't put all your eggs in that basket. There are also options via Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Prisons, Public Health Service Corps, US Military, and I have heard urban legends of loan repayment directly through the employer. It just depends on how desperate they are. It is a tax write off for them.
