SoCalPrePa1
Would it look bad on my applications if my scribe job was only a temp position (4 month position)? I have 3 years of being an MA, 2 years of being an ortho tech, and 1 year behind a rehab tech. Edited January 7, 2022 by SoCalPrePa1

VarsityMed
Not at all! You can note it on both your resume and CASPA entry. Temp positions aren't unusual. In CAPSA, there is actually an option to select "Temporary" as the status of your employment. I would use that option. In your description you can include anything relevant: was it a crisis placement? Was it in a different specialty that you wanted to explore? Did you do it in concurrently with your others jobs (if not no worries)? You can do the same thing on a resume. You can list the job as Medical Scribe (Temp) or Medical Scribe (Short Term Contract). No reason to worry about it. Include it for sure!
