SoCalPrePa1
Hi everyone! As we approach to the new application cycle, I would like to know if my current job stands as PCE or HCE. Working as a clinic research coordinator in which I help enroll patients into the study, make sure they make eligibility check points, follow up on labs and radiology results, monitor their progress, meet with them for about an hour for in take visits, looking at consults, checking vitals, seeing patients at tier visits in the office, assessing symptoms and assessing side effects throughout the course of their treatment. Not sure if I should list this experience as patient care hours or healthcare hours. Please help Edited January 11, 2022 by SoCalPrePa1 Tags
UGoLong
IMHO, not really PCE. Doesn't appear to involve enough actual patient contact to me, besides shepherding them through your study's wickets. Even scribing lets you meet patients on what is not their best day.
