dtown055
I'm a senior in college and just became interested in PA. I don't have some of the pre-req courses such as Organic chem, Microbiology, Biochem completed. I was thinking of taking some of these courses next summer at a community college, will this be acceptable for most PA programs?
cinntsp
It will be fine for most but there are some schools that prefer pre-reqs to be from a university. Just check the websites for the schools you are interested in.

Seijou
Yes, for most programs. However, some (although they seem to be a small percentage) prefer upper division university courses.
GatorRRT
As long as the c.c class would transfer to your local state school, it's fine. Most programs make no distinction between the two; call the schools you're interested in and ask.
Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted July 10, 2012 Moderator Share Posted July 10, 2012 Ive not seen a program that wouldn't take CC credits as long as the school was regionally accredited. I do know some that will not take online courses.
