MCPHS Worcester 2019-2020

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to let everyone know that I made another thread for the accepted students. Good luck to those of you waitlisted or waiting to hear back! My best advice is to keep updating them of ANY additional volunteering, PCE/HCE, grade updates (even mid semester), etc. There are plenty of people last cycle who made it off of the waitlist, so don't lose hope!

They are fully accredited!!

Dear PA Students,

As Program Director, I am happy to share with you the great news that the MCPHS Manchester/Worcester Physician Assistant Studies Program received notification today from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA), has been granted Accreditation-Continued status. The approximate date for the next validation review of the Program by the ARC-PA will be September 2027. This decision was based on the Manchester/Worcester PA Studies Program reports, the report of the ARC-PA site visit team following a focused evaluation on-site visit in June 2019, and the Program's accreditation history. This has been a two-year process for the University, Program, and students since 2017 when the Manchester/Worcester PA Studies Program was placed on accreditation-probation status. As you can imagine, it is very gratifying to deliver this positive accreditation status update to our students! Take pride in this accomplishment as it is a reflection of the strength, teamwork, and resilience of our Program faculty, staff, and students – WAY TO GO MCPHS CARDINALS!

Best,

Prof. Magee

Applied and verified 11/15, got an email today to interview!! Does anyone know how long the interview takes if my interview is at 8:30 am? Trying to book flights! Does anyone have a hotel recommendation?

Congrats! The interview is about three hours, but that includes a tour with current students 🙂
