Moderator EMEDPA Posted April 11, 2016 Moderator Share Posted April 11, 2016 pretty good if you select programs with hce > 1000 hrs and <2000. best of luck!
Administrator rev ronin Posted April 11, 2016 Administrator Share Posted April 11, 2016 The only red flag I see on your app is the science GPA. You should have addressed that in your personal statement and be prepared to talk about it in any interviews you may be offered.
MT2PA
Also, not sure what you did for volunteering that made it health care experience. May not count as HCE at every program (some want paid experience only, some are picking about job descriptions, etc). HCE in general is on the lower end but not the worst we've seen posted on this forum.
pahopeful_1
Science GPA is little on the lower side, but if you apply broadly, you should be fine. However, to improve your chances, I suggest that you take some more of the upper level science classes or repeat some of the classes that you have made below a B (you can list them as in-progress on CASPA) and colleges will see that you are trying to work on your weak area. It's a positive sign for them to interview you.
