znb17649
Hello, so I applied this year and didn't get in. I had 4 interviews out of 6 schools I applied for. I didn't do so well in the interviews and got denied from all the schools I applied too. Kinesiology Major Exercise Science--> Overall GPA 3.74 Core Science--> 3.67 Patient Direct care--> 2,000+hrs Physical Therapist Aide Volunteer--> 150hrs volunteering at hospitals, 80hrs feeding the homeless Shadow a PA--> 50hrs I plan to improve for the next cycle by taking the GRE, and practice my interviewing skills. Also do you think doing an EMT program and working as an EMT make me much more competitive?
Administrator rev ronin Posted March 29, 2016 Administrator Share Posted March 29, 2016 Next cycle starts next month. How are you going to get an EMT class done in there unless you have it already underway? Are you planning on taking a cycle off?
paproof
Practice your interview skills and read up on how to nail an interview before you apply this coming cycle
MT2PA
If you got 4/6 interviews, it's not your app that is the problem, it's your interview skills. Your app (grade, HCE, shadowing) was good enough to get you in the door at 4 schools. There's no way you shouldn't have gotten at least 1 acceptance or a few waitlists if your interview skills were decent. Focus your attention on that.
