So of the 2400 applications, 150 students are offered interviews and only 44 are selected. If you haven't applied yet, don't waste the money for CASPA plus the $75 for the supplemental because Stony won't even look at your applications after November.  I wish people who truly wanted to practice medicine didn't have to pay such a heavy price for wanting to even apply. I also wish schools weren't such a scam.

because applying to PA school is cheaper then medical school and nursing programs, so not sure why you think your paying such a heavy price and schools are scamming you?????

CASPA Application $150 initial and $50 per school  - to get a chance at interviews you have to apply to several schools

Supplemental applications $30-$75 EACH

Send GRE scores in $27 EACH

Get transcripts - varies

Getting into ANY school costs a lot of money when it really shouldn't. Why should thousands pay a school money even after they stop interviewing? Why should you give people false hope and take their money if you won't even look at their application?

Is this not a scam???????

If you feel that schools are scamming you, why would you apply?  Choose another profession.
