nebero
As most of you know by now, Hydrocodone is C2 and I can't write for c2 in my state. My DEA is due for renewal and I am considering letting it expire. Would you pay $700+ just to be able to write Tramadol and Tylenol3? akdEM
Are you paying for it out of your own pocket? I wouldn't pay $700 of my own dollars, but I would certainly do it if my employer paid...
Guest Paula
Don't forget about the benzos and other controlled substances like Lyrica and the sleep drugs, in schedule III and IV. And testosterone...schedule III. I let my employer pay for my DEA. I have schedule II privileges in my state.
GetMeOuttaThisMess
Or you can go Fed and get it for free. They will appreciate your keeping your clientele medicated (and boy, they DO like their medications). I'm surprised that there hasn't been a run on the hydrocodone at my location knowing that the PA's won't be able to write for it after 10/5/14. Moderator EMEDPA Posted September 17, 2014 Moderator Share Posted September 17, 2014 keep it. there will be patients who need pain meds(remember talwin nx too) and you don't want to bug your sp for scripts on a regular basis.
