stacey.wilke1
How many people are usually taken from the waitlist for PA programs? Im #2, and I'm wondering how likely it is that I'll get in. Waiting is torture...
taotaox1
Just off the cuff, I would say #2 is highly likely to get in. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Ferraro
I know of a few schools that say they take up to 1/3 of students off of the waitlist, but I am not sure if that is typical of all schools. I agree with taotaox1 though - your odds seem pretty good!
UGoLong
Lots of schools take from their wait lists. It is so easy to apply to multiple schools so many applicants do. If they get accepted at multiple places, someone is going to slide into one of the spots that they decide to turn down. Unlike the airlines, schools can't really overbook easily! Good luck! kep308
I think you have a very realistic chance being #2. I'm on a wait list but they say it's not ranked, that when a need opens up they go to the wait list 'pool' and go through a competitive process. UGH because there are FIFTY people on the wait list. Yea....not holding my breath and working on my personal statement for CASPA AGAIN. :) Good luck and congrats!
