nicole1228
I am a newbie to all of this and have recently decided to give up my pharmacy school seat for the fall to try a shot at PA school. I am wanting to know which GRE prep books or programs you all recommend particularly for the revised 2013 GRE. Is Kaplan a safe bet? Thanks!! ktcan10
I've had great success with Kaplan. If you want to plunk down a little more change, they also have some awesome "Classroom Anywhere" GRE prep classes in which you can participate from your bunny slippers and favorite chair. TarheelGirlx3
I am using Princeton Review right now and so far it seems great. I am getting into the medium level drills and want to beat myself up (Hoping the real thing isn't this bad) I don't know if is it accurate or just trying to make you work that much harder but have the real thing not as difficult...idk. sarahb
Depending on what section you think you'll need to study most, Barron's has an awesome "800 essential GRE words" book that I found extremely helpful! Vocabulary is not my strong suite and I felt this book definitely had essential GRE words in it. Even though I didn't make it all the way through the book, many of the words on the actual GRE were straight from the book.
nicole1228
Thanks for your advice! I think I'm going with Kaplan and since vocabulary has never been my strong suit I may use Barron's for that section.

marktheshark89
Kaplan worked for me. Verbal was my weakness and I bought the kaplan verbal book for extra practice and studied the 200 most common GRE words and did well.
