  1. east Carolina university! My GRE was right at the average accepted but my GPA was low.
  2. I did it to make myself a more competitive applicant in case and to have a backup career that I would really enjoy in case PA school never worked out. So PA/NP is still the ultimate goal. But at this point I love the program that I am in and it might be in my best interest to reapply to PA school next year and have a chance of getting interviews at more schools.
  3. Thanks..I am just worried that once they learn that I am in the BSN program they will question my intentions. Obviously I would be honest about it. Thanks for the input.
  4. I just received an interview invite for 2 weeks from now..which I am very divided and pleasantly surprised. I just started an accelerated BSN program that I originally applied to because I seriously doubted that I was competitive enough, and had put PA school out of consideration until after getting my BSN. What do you guys think? I have to consider the loans I have for this program as well. The school also doesn't know that I am in this program because I honestly just abandoned the application process. Please help!
  5. I just received an interview invite for January 24th, which now I am thoroughly confused because I just started an accelerated BSN program that I originally applied to because I seriously doubted that I was competitive enough and had put PA school out of consideration until after getting my BSN. What do you guys think? Is the class close to full..would I even have a chance?
  6. I am with you...I work in a LTC facility because it was literally the only job I could find after 2 months of looking. The hospitals want experienced CNAs, especially ones not planning on leaving after a short while. To add to that, the doctor's offices in my area are turning away from hiring CNAs and strictly hiring CMAs...so it has been really tough for me. I look at it as as the very least I am gaining those hours and building up experience that may lead to a better medical opportunity.
  7. Hi...so I also took a stats class for my psych major. East Carolina University has approved it for me because I made an A. They said if I made less than a B they would have wanted me to take a traditional stats class. Also, Methodist University if NC accepted it. Best thing to do is to email each individual school..that's what I did.
  8. Do you guys think its too late to apply? My cGPA is only 3.4 and sGPA a 3.1 with upward trend. GRE 155Q, 154V and 4.0W? Work as a CNA full time
  9. You can update individual schools with your hours. I've already done it, but I guess it depends on the school. Obviously though you cannot update it on CASPA after submitting.
  10. Yea you could always do that, but keep in mind the CASPA fee is $185 which includes 1 school. I would honestly just wait..it doesn't take THAT long to justify paying that extra money right now. Plus you can always start it and just look at everything needed to be prepared for next year.
  11. yep...it opens in April 2014 for the next cycle..have to wait until then.
  12. Oh wow! Thanks..getting extremely nervous now! Everyone please keep us updated!
