smmiller37
I am new to this site so I might be posting in the wrong area. Is it possible for a PA to work on research expeditions? And if so, does anyone have any resources where I can learn more? I will soon be applying to PA schools and eventually doing something like that would be interesting. jmj11
Dream big. Work hard to create your own path. In short, I'm unaware but if not, make it happen. I'm sure you are aware of PAs working in Antarctica, in support of those doing research. Edited April 19, 2022 by jmj11
MediMike
You can check out Remote Medical International, they have random international deployments, not sure if there are any research focused ones. I am willing to bet that @EMEDPA knows some other contractor type orgs you could look into.
Moderator EMEDPA Posted April 19, 2022 Moderator Share Posted April 19, 2022 PAs working with the US public health service can go on NOAA expeditions. UTSW staffs the Antarctica positions. Remote medical international (as above) is a great company out of seattle that staffs PAs all over the world.
