emtPA
This is my first year ever having CME money to use. I have about $400 to use, but I'm willing to spend a little more from personal money for something good. What is something good related to EM? I cannot do anything that gives a gift card back. Thanks!

Administrator rev ronin Posted October 23, 2018 Administrator Share Posted October 23, 2018 Well... what do you already have? Since I no longer have access to UpToDate, I would consider a year's subscription for that, because it's awesome to get CME just for looking stuff up. I just bought updated copies of Sanford Guide and Current, both of which I considered worth the investment.
BrainAndCo
Board Vitals has good emergency medicine CME in your price range. Anything by Hippo, including EM RAP is worth getting in my opinion. Medpage Today has a lot of short, daily free articles in most specialties (including EM) that can add up in terms of CME hours.
EMSGuy1982
EM RAP is solid and uptodate material and it’s relatively cheap (under 400). I purchased the Urgent care version and enjoy getting 3.5 CME hours after every full episode. Listen, take a quiz, and they keep all of your CME backed up on their site so you don’t have to print and file it away.
