eliRN
I am an RN and looking at a masters degree. I am interested in PA school , however I am 48 years old. Am I going to be totally out of place in PA school, where the average age is 23? vs. NP school where most are my age? am mainly concerned about my ability to get accepted by schools and hired after I graduate.... Thanks~
DarcyJ
For starters, the average age is older than 23. Some schools have younger averages than others, but it's still older than that. I will be turning 40 a month after starting PA school. Pick your graduate program based on what you want to be. Doesn't matter how close in age your classmates are if you are stuck in a program that doesn't match your goals.
