nmc5108
I was first hired for general surgery but due to an increase in the residency program I was moved to otolaryngology. It is within the same physician surgical group just different specialty. I’m getting my resume together for applying to new jobs in a few months and was wondering if I should include the reason for he transfer in my resume or maybe the cover letter since it wasn’t my choice. Any thoughts? Thanks
Administrator rev ronin Posted November 24, 2017 Administrator Share Posted November 24, 2017 Why? I've never seen that in a CV (you don't have a resume any longer, you have a CV. Know the differences). It can be something that comes up in an interview if they decide to ask.
sas5814
Concur w Rev. It is a simple administrative matter and not any kind of negative action. It can be discussed at interview if needed.
