Started CASPA application, but I will have to wait another year to apply.

I had every intention of applying to PA schools, with the hope of beginning a program Fall 2018. However, I just have a family medical issue come up with my spouse who is going to need surgery for a spinal injury for injures during his deployment in Iraq. I want to apply to schools that will start Fall 2019 instead now. Will CASPA save my references that were submitted already? Am I going to have to bother these busy professors and physicians again to fill them out AGAIN for me in a year?! I have not submitted any applications to any schools yet. I am really hoping CASPA holds onto my references! 

What do I do? Thank you!

I have had to reapply and some references I used before had my letter saved so it wasn't a bother to them to be a reference for me again. I hated to ask again too, but people are very supportive and understanding.

Same here , I had to ask for references again. Everything else will be saved for next year except the references and the schools obviously. Good luck. Hope your husband surgery and recovery is well
