mgriffiths
I am a new grad and started my first job three weeks ago (loving it!). I was talking with a PA colleague and she mentioned that as a new grad I don't have to start accumulating CME for a full year, essentially meaning that I have 3 years to get my first 100 hours. Is this correct? Is there a place on the NCCPA website I can confirm this? I've looked and didn't see it. Thanks in advance.
Moderator EMEDPA Posted February 4, 2017 Moderator Share Posted February 4, 2017 you need 100 hrs by the end of each 2 yr cycle. you can do them at any time during the cycle.
AliB
Make sure you know your state's requirements as well! My home state's requirements are more stringent than NCCPA and a certain amount of CME must be competed ANNUALLY.
mgriffiths
Thanks, and didn't even to think about state requirements - definitely will do!
Administrator rev ronin Posted February 4, 2017 Administrator Share Posted February 4, 2017 CME is almost TOO easy to get. I am racking up 150-200 hours annually.
