Lemon Bars
Please forgive my ignorance, but do PA schools generate wait lists from applicants that they have already interviewed? Or might a person not be selected for interview but still be placed on a wait list?
Moderator EMEDPA Posted November 16, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 16, 2013 adcoms interview the folks they want then rank them accept, wait list, or reject. if you are high on a wait list(top 5 or so) you will probably get a seat as some folks who were accepted will decide to go elsewhere. if you are low on a wait list you will likely not get a seat but being on a wait list should encourage you to apply to the same place again the next yr if you don't get in somewhere else. Z PA-C
Some programs that have all of their interview seats filled may also have a waitlist to get an interview but I don't think anyone has a waitlist that goes straight to acceptance without an interview.
