Paramedic or Grad courses ????

Recommended Posts

With 3k hours I would say you should be around a 3.3 or higher GPA. If you are close, I guess it depends on your GRE. And as said, depends on the programs you are looking at. If it's that low, then continue working. From my understanding, a post bacc program is viewed favorably by the academic type schools. To me, if you want to do what you can to be a better PA, I'd goto paramedic school at a community college. It'll still give you courses to help boost your GPA and also give you a better base as you goto PA school. Plus, you may find that being a PA isn't what you want since being a medic on an ambulance is kinda like being a "mini" PA.
