wesr_gordon
Applying to PA schools this coming spring. I was wondering if there were any sort of easier or sort of "fun" side jobs PA's could add on to generate some additional income?

Guest Paula
Prostitution Hahahaha! Tattoo removal may be a nice option. No PA side jobs are easy. You need to know what you are doing. Side jobs can be very challenging...i.e. locums positions in urgent care or EM require a seasoned PA.
Administrator rev ronin Posted August 10, 2013 Administrator Share Posted August 10, 2013 I dunno, I really enjoy teaching EMT classes part time for $25/hour and think it's pretty easy--mostly talking, demonstrating, and critiquing--but that's not strictly a PA job. That sounds pretty awesome. I was also thinking along the lines of international work, part time side clinic jobs like schools, shelters, etc.
Moderator EMEDPA Posted August 10, 2013 Moderator Share Posted August 10, 2013 Teaching at pa program. help out with a procedures lab or physical dx or pbl section and many places pay 75/hr... acls/phtls instructor is fun and easy too.
physasst
I sit on several advisory boards, a couple of them pay me....It's not a lot of money, but it helps. That and teaching in a doctoral program.... I used to moonlight clinically, but too much of a pain in the *** to really be worth it.
