Ejsmith829
I'm wondering if anyone can help! Im currently applying to Boston schools, and one of them requires micro and biochem, which I have not yet taken. All of my other Pre reqs are done, and those two courses will be finished about 2 months after the schools deadline. The schools have said i can apply this cycle with 2 outstanding classes. My cum gpa is a 3.37, my science gpa is a 3.6, and I have over 12000 hours as a full time health care worker as an EMT, telemetry tech, EKG tech and ED tech. My undergrad was in English, and was only a 3.28, but I took my Pre reqs through a post-bac program and received a 3.72. What I'm wondering is how much these outstanding courses will hurt my chances of admission this cycle. Does anyone know? Thanks!
Moderator EMEDPA Posted July 10, 2013 Moderator Share Posted July 10, 2013 shouldn't be a problem as long as you pass them with the required grade. some programs will give a conditional acceptance predicated upon you passing your remaining coursework. winterallsummer
I had 4 outstanding pre-reqs including A&P 1 when I applied, didn't feel it hurt my chances.
