sas5814
Has anyone used an insurance verification service that has worked well? The time and energy it takes to verify an individuals insurance is a big problem when you have to do it many times a day. I have read a number of advertisements but my experience so far, and the experience of many people I know, has been poor at best. The service built in to my EHR doesn't do Medicare. The first paid service I tried didn't have United Health Care which is big in our area. Thanks in advance
Shawncoop
Hello Dr, Insurance verification is indeed a tedious task when you gotta be doing it numerous times a day? Does your office take up appointments a day in prior? Which should cover up most parts as not authorizations are available the insurance portal and gets overhead when you need to call the insurances to obtain authorization, And with the verification done right it eradicates your billing issues too. I can be of more help if you can let me know what EHR you are using currently. Thank you and hope this was of any help Best regards Cooper

I don't know the OP personally, but I'm going to go our on a limb and say "Hello Dr", may not be the most correct form of address. Also, several sentences in your post are illegible to me, as a reader of the English language since the late 70's. I'm not sure if you just rushed, since this was a first post for you, but it did not give the best impression. If you're trying to sell a service, just make your pitch. Thanks in advance I had experience with several, and all disappointed me. It is a little frustrating to pay for a service, then months later have to pay back the insurance company or never get paid to start with because the insurance company didn't have then in their database (after the service said they were ok to go). With that said, I would probably recommend Kareo. I have used a variety of their services from the full Mercedes version down to what I have now, just their free EHR. They have a reasonable IT support (which the others did not). They have a 50% reduction for PAs, another 50% for low-volume practices. The only thing I don't know is if you can get insurance verification as a stand alone service. They drool to do all of your billing. Of our four different billing services, theirs was the best (and most simple to use). The last good thing about them (unless they changed) was that you could cancel the contract with 30 day's notice. Our last, practice management system was a disaster. It failed miserably, was very expensive and then, we almost went to court (and still may) just to get out of the contract. Even after I closed the practice they continued to harass me. I test drove this system (http://www.mdsmedicalsoftware.com/ehr-tools/tablet-check-in-systems/ ) when I was considering working completely alone. But I can't give a yeah or nay about it, because I never used it.

meoluoikhongbietcuoi
You do not have to use any software to verify coverage. But I also want to know more about it, looking forward to sharing from you. Thank you. (https://thegioikeodanhanoi.blogspot.com/)
