tracel23_30
What vaccinations were required upon your admittance to PA school and did they allow for medical exemptions? I have been planning to apply but developed Guillain-Barre while getting the Hep. B series and my doctor is adamantly opposed to me receiving any vaccines. I have contacted the schools I hope to attend and was told it would depend on my clinical sites or haven't gotten any feedback. I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences with this issue. Thanks!
Administrator rev ronin Posted April 24, 2013 Administrator Share Posted April 24, 2013 You are never required to get a vaccine that has a medical contraindication. You may have to document and jump through hoops, however.
