Moderator EMEDPA Posted January 31, 2013 Moderator Share Posted January 31, 2013 Someone just sent me a pm saying they had gotten an em job and asked me for some advice as they thought I was the "guru of em". My response as it might be helpful to others: RCDavis is the guru. I am but a lowly padawan in his shadow. JP86
One of my attending physicians recently recommended this. Is this approved for our CME? How would you log it? I figure as an AMA sponsored program through ACEP?
Moderator True Anomaly Posted February 21, 2013 Moderator Share Posted February 21, 2013 EMRAP is just about the gold standard for ER podcasts. There are several out there that are excellent too, but EMRAP was first and covers the widest ground, and they feature many of the same people who run the other podcasts. To me, it's money well spent. And yes, since it's AMA category 1, it's suitable for us too.

sailordeac
I would also add EMRA Antibiotic Guide to the list of books - pretty useful and straightforward. I think it comes as an app now too. That, Minor Emergencies, Up to Date, and to a lesser extent, Tintinalli, are pretty much my go-tos.
