Anyone else get this email? Do I still have a chance to be accepted?

Dear Aspiring Clinician,
Thanks for your interest in our program. The Committee on Admissions of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Physician Assistant Master’s Program has had the challenging task of carefully reviewing applications from a very competitive applicant pool this cycle. Since the current application cycle is about to conclude, we are sending final status updates on your application. However, before we do, I want to determine if you remain interested in our Program since at this junction in the application cycle, many applicants may have accepted offers to be in a program. If you are still interested in our Program, kindly respond to this email as soon as possible, but no later than February 9th, 2024.

Please note…this is not an offer of admission or an alternate seat. We need to receive your response to grant you the fullest possible consideration. Please be sure the most recent contact information is on file with CASPA.

If you have any additional questions regarding our program, please reach out to our Admissions Department

sounds like you do. it seems the school is trying to be efficient and cut down the load of applications to look through so they can focus on applicants who want to actually be considered rather than most applicants who have accepted seats elsewhere
