microscopicblackhole Posted August 24, 2023 Share Posted August 24, 2023 Rejected too. I went to the Open House to express my interest, and I thought it went well. Some people in a FB group I’m in are saying they may value the in-state or super local applicants way more than they let on. Which makes sense in hindsight. At the Open House, most people were in-state and almost all the students in the mini-panel were so local they still lived at home. That’s the current theory some people have.
